Our pizzas come out of a wood-fire and charcoal grill kitchen, and the bar behind them pours over 30 cocktails alongside cold beer and wine. So you can order a Margherita and a proper cocktail at the same table, without walking anywhere else. It works because we have been running the same corner since 2000. The kitchen and the bar are used to working the same ticket, so your pizza and your round of drinks arrive together rather than half an hour apart.

The thin-crust pizzas

Our pizzas are thin-crust and built to be shared. On the menu you will find the classics done straight — Margherita, Funghi, Salami and the loaded Carpricciosa — plus a few with more going on, like the Vesuvio, the tuna-topped Altonno, the Bacon, our namesake Hawaii, a proper Vegetarian and a folded Calzone for when you want everything sealed inside.

A word on the meat: all our meat and chicken are halal (halal slaughter), so the toppings on most of our pizzas are halal too. Pork is only prepared on request, in a separate area with its own dedicated equipment. Hawaii is also a bar, so we do serve alcohol — that means we are a good fit for families who want halal food in a relaxed, grown-up setting, not an alcohol-free venue. The drinks that go with them

Now the other half of the table. Behind the bar we keep more than 30 cocktails going, so there is a pour for however the evening is heading — something long and citrusy while the pizzas land, something short and stirred once the plates are cleared. You do not need to overthink it, but a couple of easy rules help. A sharp, spirit-forward cocktail cuts through a rich pizza like the Bacon or Carpricciosa nicely. A lighter, fruitier cocktail sits better next to a Margherita or the Vegetarian. And when in doubt, a beer never argues with a slice. Ordering a couple of pizzas for the table and letting everyone build their own drink pairing is, honestly, the best way to eat here.

Making a night of it

Because we are a bar as much as a kitchen, the evening does not stop when the plates are cleared. There is karaoke if you want to sing for it, and we show live sport on the screens — football, including the Premier League and Champions League, plus Formula 1 and hockey. So a pizza-and-cocktails plan can just as easily turn into a match night or a late one; we are open until 02:00, seven days a week.
