2. Flag the occasion — birthday, anniversary, reunion, last-night blowout: each gets its own touches.
3. Mention dietary needs up front — vegetarian counts, kids' plates, allergies: the kitchen preps calmly with notice.
4. Ask about pickup — hotel names in, transport plan out, convoy anxiety cancelled.
