Let's be straight about what lands on your table. Our Mexicana is built on four toppings and four toppings only: mince meat, onion, paprika and jalapeno. No long list of extras, no filler. That's the whole point of it. The mince gives it weight and savoury depth, the onion adds a sweet edge under the heat, the paprika brings colour and a gentle warmth, and the jalapeno is where the real kick comes from.
Every Mexicana is a thin-crust 33cm base, the Italian style we've made in Side since 2000. It goes into our real wood fire and charcoal oven, so the crust comes out with that crisp, slightly smoky edge you only get from live fire rather than a conveyor. Ingredients are prepped fresh each day. It's a simple pizza done properly, not a loaded one.
How we serve it
The Mexicana arrives whole on a 33cm base, hot from the oven, ready to slice at the table. Thin-crust means it stays light even with the mince on top, so it eats well as a full plate for one or shared as part of a bigger spread. The jalapeno carries a real, honest heat, so if you're heat-shy this is one to share; if you chase spice, this is your pizza. Want it hotter or milder, or a topping left off? Because it's cooked to order over fire, it's freshest eaten in. If you're nearby, it also travels well for takeaway or short-run delivery to your hotel, though the crust is at its crispest straight from our oven.

It also fits neatly into a wider spice-forward, Mexican-leaning meal if that's the mood of the table. Kids who don't like heat are better steered to a plainer pizza, and our menu has gentler options for them.
