Both arrive the way a fajita should: strips of grilled meat with peppers and onions, still hissing on a hot cast-iron plate, alongside warm tortillas so everyone at the table can build their own. Wrap it, load it, share it, repeat.

Halal beef, off the wood-fire and charcoal grill

The meat matters here. All our beef and chicken is halal (halal slaughter), so the Meat Fajita and Mixed Fajita are both prepared with halal meat. Everything hits our wood-fire and charcoal grill before it reaches your skillet, which is where that smoky, slightly charred edge comes from — the difference between a fajita that's merely warm and one that genuinely tastes grilled.

A note for honesty's sake: Hawaii Restaurant is a bar as well as a kitchen, so alcohol is served on the premises. Pork is only prepared on request, in a separate area with its own dedicated equipment. If you're after halal meat in a relaxed, family-friendly setting, the fajitas are a safe and satisfying choice.

Which fajita should you order?

Go for the Meat Fajita if you're set on beef and want that deeper, charcoal-grilled flavour front and centre. Choose the Mixed Fajita if your table can't agree, or if you just like variety — chicken and meat side by side means everyone gets a bit of what they fancy. Both are hearty enough to share as a centrepiece, or to hold their own as a full main.
