Because we don't want you to be caught out, here's the full picture. Hawaii is also a bar — we pour 30-plus cocktails and run a Happy Hour from 19:00 to 20:00 — so alcohol is served on site. We do not, and will never, describe ourselves as "halal-certified" or "alcohol-free", because that wouldn't be true.

Pork is only prepared on request, in a separate area with its own dedicated equipment, so it never touches the halal grill where your steak or lamb is cooked. For most tables that means a straightforward, family-friendly meal: halal meat off the charcoal, no pork anywhere near it.
