Let's Be Honest: Land of Legends Is a Full Day Out

First, honest expectations. Land of Legends is not in Side — the theme park sits in Belek, further along the coast, and visiting it from Side is a proper day trip. Between the water slides, roller coasters, wave pools and shows, most families leave in the morning and don't roll back into Side until the evening. By then the pattern is always the same: the kids are somewhere between euphoric and completely broken, the adults have walked far more than they planned to, and everybody is genuinely hungry.

That is exactly the evening a homecoming dinner was invented for — and it's the kind of dinner we've been cooking in Side old town since 2000.

Dinner for Small Humans Who Just Conquered a Theme Park

Exhausted children are not adventurous eaters. They want food they recognise, and they want it quickly. Our kids menu is built for precisely that mood: Kids Pizza, Chicken Nuggets with Chips, Fish Fingers with Chips, Spaghetti, Hamburger with Chips, Sausage with Chips, Grilled Chicken Fillet, a kids' Beefsteak and even Pankek (pancakes) for the child who insists dinner should be dessert.

Our charcoal grill runs all evening: fillet steak, sauced classics like pepper steak, and the 450g T-bone for anyone whose appetite matches the day they've had. Timing: Why a Late Return Is No Problem

Getting back from Belek in the evening doesn't cut it fine for us. We're open daily from 10:00 to 02:00, so whether you sit down at seven or half past nine, the grill is still hot and the kitchen is in full swing. If the kids catch a second wind, there's a karaoke stage; if you'd rather they wound down, a quiet table and an ice cream will do it.
