Brunch & Late Breakfast in Side: A Lazy Morning Guide at Hawaii Restaurant

📍 Side 🕐 4 min read 21 Jul 2026

For brunch or a late breakfast in Side, Hawaii Restaurant in the old town opens daily at 10:00. You can settle in for a full English or Turkish breakfast paired with coffee and fresh juice — an easy, unhurried mid-morning meal that suits holiday lie-ins rather than an early rush.

Why Side is made for a lazy morning

Holidays run on their own clock. You stay up late, you sleep in, and by the time you surface the sun is already high over the old town. That's exactly the moment brunch was invented for — somewhere between breakfast and lunch, when you want something hearty but relaxed. In Side, the cobbled streets near the harbour are perfect for a slow start, and Hawaii Restaurant on 512. Sk. opens its doors at 10:00, so you never have to set an alarm to eat well.

We don't run a separate "brunch menu" with clever names — that wouldn't be honest, and you'd only be disappointed. What we do is straightforward and comforting: a proper cooked breakfast, made to order, served late enough that you can wander in mid-morning without a plan.

What a late breakfast looks like here

The core of a good brunch is a plate that does the work of two meals. At Hawaii you can choose a classic English breakfast — the full fry-up that keeps British guests coming back — or a generous Turkish breakfast spread if you'd rather graze on a table full of little plates. Both travel well into the late morning and pair beautifully with a coffee.

If you want something simpler, there are easy options too: fried eggs on toast for a light start, bacon, egg and chips when you're properly hungry, or a bacon butty to take the edge off before an afternoon at the beach. See the full spread and choose what suits you on our menu.

Coffee, fresh juice and the drinks that make brunch

No lazy morning is complete without something in the glass. We pour coffee to go with your plate, and if you'd rather start bright there's fresh juice and milkshakes that pair naturally with breakfast. It's the small ritual — the plate, the cup, the sunshine — that turns a meal into a proper mid-morning wind-down.

And yes, we're a bar as well as a kitchen, so if your "brunch" leans towards the boozy end of the spectrum, that option exists too. But there's no pressure either way — a late breakfast here is just as happily done over a coffee.

Getting to us — and getting picked up

Hawaii Restaurant sits in the heart of Side old town, an easy stroll if you're staying nearby. If you're a little further out — in Kumköy, Evrenseki, Çolaklı, Sorgun, Titreyengöl, Gündoğdu, Ilıca or over in Manavgat — you don't need to worry about the walk. We offer free hotel pickup from selected hotels, plus an affordable two-way transfer, so a lazy morning doesn't have to mean a taxi hunt. Message us on WhatsApp at +90 533 930 12 83 to arrange it before you set out.

Family-friendly, and honest about what we serve

Brunch is often a family affair, and we welcome that. All of our meat and chicken are halal (halal slaughter), which matters to many of our guests. To be completely clear: pork is available only on request, prepared in a separate area with dedicated equipment — so the bacon on a British fry-up is there if you want it, and easy to leave off if you don't. We're a bar too, so alcohol is served on the premises; we'd never describe ourselves as alcohol-free. If halal meat and a family table are what you're after, you'll be comfortable here.

Weekend brunch or a quiet weekday morning

Because we're open every day from 10:00 until late, there's no "brunch is Sundays only" rule at Hawaii. A weekend brunch works just as well as a quiet weekday lie-in — the kitchen is the same, the welcome is the same, and the coffee is always on. On busier weekend mornings it's worth letting us know you're coming so we can have a good table ready.

Plan your lazy morning

Roll out of bed, wander into the old town, and let someone else do the cooking. Whether it's a full English, a Turkish spread or just eggs on toast with a coffee, a late breakfast in Side is one of the simplest holiday pleasures going. Browse the full menu to decide, then reserve a table or ask about hotel pickup — and we'll see you around 10.
